Graduation Program

The Masters of Arts program in Anthropology at CSUF offers students an excellent graduate education in anthropology. Students will receive broad yet in-depth training in current anthropology as well as more specialized instruction in the students’ chosen areas of interest. Students will receive a first-rate classroom-based education combined with excellent opportunities for practical laboratory and field experience. Our curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, reading and writing skills to prepare students for a variety of careers or to continue their academic studies in pursuit of a higher degree.

Fall 2026

The deadline for Fall applications to Cal State Apply and the Division of Anthropology is May 1 for domestic and international applicants. Please review the MA Handbook for further information about the program.
